The Distance Education and Educational Technology team works with academic and vocational departments, system and support services, and qualified and experienced instructors to ensure that distant learners have full access to quality and fulfilling learning experiences with CTC regardless of their locations. This is accomplished by
- Providing a broad range of instructional tools to accommodate students of varied backgrounds, interests, and abilities.
- Creating a distance learning environment that encourages and supports the highest level of learner engagement and success.
- Providing Technical Support to all distance learning customers.
- Conducting continuous evaluation of distance learning courseware and support services to ensure the advancement of CTC's distance learning mission.
- Providing ongoing training and support for distance learning faculty and staff.

PLANETARIUM AND TECHNOLOGY BUILDING
Building 152 on Central Campus
Killeen, TX

A state-of-the-art Architectural Award winning facility, this building provides office and technology lab space as well as a large planetarium. The planetarium features a 60-foot dome and stadium seating for 184 people which makes it the largest domed theater in Texas. Since opening in 2003, over 35,000 visitors have attended programs including large format films, planetarium shows, laser light shows, and K-12 public school programs.
