Student Information
Using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI tools without instructor approval violates the CTC academic integrity policy.
The use of AI-based tools (such as ChatGPT or MS Copilot) to complete any course submission is not permissible unless specifically allowed by your instructor. Instructor-approved usage of AI-based tools on any assignment will require usage transparency. Transparency is obtained by clearly marking "AI output,” including the specific tool(s) used, and listing the text of your query/prompts used. For example, if you use ChatGPT-3, you must cite "ChatGPT-3. (YYYY, Month DD of query). "Text of your query/prompt." Generated using OpenAI. https://chat.openai.com/.”
Please be aware that material generated by AI software may be inaccurate, incomplete, or otherwise insignificant. Use your best judgment when including it in your work.
Any plagiarism or other cheating will be addressed using the CTC Academic Integrity Policy.
